Our Service

Convert drawings to 2D-3D CAD

We trace old drawings from paper, images, PDF files, etc., digitize, create high quality 2D CAD data. This service not only makes it easier to manage storage and edit designs, but also saves costs, especially helps to preserve customers’ valuable assets.

Design part processing drawings

We specialize in extracting part drawings from assembly drawings to create detailed part drawings for manufacturing.

This process involves separating individual components (Detail Drawings) from an overall assembly drawing. In an assembly drawing, the parts of a system or machine are combined to form a complete product. The extraction process helps generate detailed drawings for each individual part, making manufacturing and assembly more efficient and accurate.

For 2D Assembly Drawings: We use AutoCAD to extract and create detailed part drawings (in DWG or DXF format).

For 3D Assembly Drawings: We use 3D software, tailored to customer requirements, to perform the separation.

Machine design support contract

When a customer has an idea and initial designs (such as assembly drawings, master drawings, and work methods) for a specific machine but lacks the specialized resources to implement them or finds the implementation cost too high, our team is ready to help to bring your idea to life in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

3D modeling (SolidWorks...) creation

We provide 3D modeling services for industrial machinery and machined parts, helping customers to transform 2D drawings or physical objects into precise and detailed 3D models. Our services not only meet the highest technical standards but also support the optimization of production and product development processes. In particular, we specialize in processing castings with complex shapes, ensuring exceptional precision.

Sheet metal fabrication

Strength calculation & Analysis

Structural analysis is a critical step in CAE engineering. At IDEA, we use advanced finite element analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate how an object responds to various loads. This process enables us to determine key parameters such as Stress, Deformation, and Strength.

  • Hourly quote: Clients pay for the actual hours worked by the design team. This is a flexible billing method, suitable for short-term projects or when the workload is not clearly defined.
  • Advantages: Makes it easier to control costs for unexpected jobs or changes during the process.
  • Disadvantage: Total cost may not be accurately predicted if the implementation time is longer than expected.

Example: If you want to break down an assembly drawing into multiple detailed parts drawings, and we confirm that it takes 10 hours to do it at a unit price of $15 each, then the cost to do it is 10 hours x $15 which equals $150 for the project.

What is a monthly contract quote?
  • Monthly contract price quote: Clients pay a fixed monthly fee for design services. This method is often used for long-term or ongoing projects where continuous support from the design team is needed.
  • Advantages: Helps with budget planning and ensures the continued presence of the design team over the long term.
  • Disadvantages: May not be cost-effective if design needs are not consistent throughout the month.

For example: If you have a project that needs “Motion simulation” and the project needs to be implemented within 1 year, you can use this type of quote, with our expert rental price per month being $300, you will estimate the cost for 1 year as 300 x 12 = $3600 for the project.

  • Design team outsourcing service: Clients hire a dedicated design team to carry out design projects. This involves providing a team of professionals with the skills needed to complete the project.
  • Advantages: Ensure a professional and synchronized team is available for complex projects that require many different skills, you will not need to sign contracts, do not need to build facilities.

What software does your team use for design?

We use software such as: AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, ICAD/SX, BrisCAD, REVIT, PLANT 3D, IronCAD. If you use other specialized software, please contact us.

Does the company guarantee confidentiality for design projects?

We will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before receiving customer information, data, and designs, and commit to absolute confidentiality of all data and information related to the customer’s project, including drawings, designs, and creative ideas. Contact us to receive our privacy policy.

For new customers, we will confirm the necessary information, work content, related costs, then proceed with the principle contract, NDA confidentiality contract.
