To support Vietnamese enterprises in enhancing competitiveness and reaching international standards, the Improving Private Sector Competitiveness (IPSC) Project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Agency for Enterprise Development (under the Ministry of Planning and Investment), has launched the Pioneering Enterprise Support Program. One of the program’s highlights is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course.
Training Course Information:
- Duration: From January 7 to March 20 (3 months)
- Instructor: Mr. Le Minh Sang – an alumnus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with professional experience at LG and Microsoft. He has trained in Lean Six Sigma for major corporations like Coca-Cola and Samsung.
- Content: Training and applying Lean Six Sigma to management and production processes at IDEA.
What is Lean Six Sigma?
Lean Six Sigma is a management methodology that combines Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and improve product quality.
- Lean: Eliminates waste such as time, resources, and unnecessary steps.
- Six Sigma: Minimizes errors and variability in processes, ensuring products achieve perfection.
This method has been successfully applied in advanced economies such as the US, UK, Japan, and South Korea, delivering outstanding results in process improvement and quality management.

The Pioneering Enterprise Support Program has attracted approximately 800 enterprises to apply, with 35 companies from 8 economic sectors nationwide selected.
