General introduction

Founder's Story

Mr. Do Hoang Trung, founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of IDEA Group, after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, studied abroad at Shizuoka University (Shizudai National University) in Japan, where he gained significant professional knowledge and insight into Japanese culture.

Since 2003, after returning to Vietnam and recognizing the potential and opportunities in the machine design, processing, and manufacturing industry, Mr. Do Hoang Trung established IDEA Technology JSC, the predecessor of IDEA Corporation. With the philosophy of ‘Customer-centric, employees are the cornerstone, technology is the foundation,’ he has made IDEA one of the pioneering enterprises in the design, processing, and automation industry in Vietnam

2013

Established ITTC Company.
Activities in trade , import-export, technical services.

2014

Staff increased to 98, office expanded to 300m2
Support machine design work, part separation, design, production

2015

Office expanded to 450m2, increased to 131 people.
Expanded to the field of processing, machine and jig manufacturing.
Established ITDC Company
Provide automation solutions for FDI enterprises in Vietnam.

2016

Established ITSC Company in Da Nang, expanding market share to central Vietnam.

2017

Established ITMC Company
Specialize in precision mechanical processing, manufacturing jigs, welding frames.
Created a complete ecosystem from design – processing – machine manufacturing.

2018

Established ITHC Company, specialized in researching products such as AGVs, industrial robots and training high quality resources.

2020

Received certificate of Science and Technology Enterprise.
Received investment certificate in High-Tech Park.
Prepared to establish design engineer training center in High-Tech Park.

2022

Moved 4 subsidiaries to Linh Trung export processing zone, expanded factory to 2700m2, optimized resources, form industry supply chain.

2023

Restructured the corporation, merged subsidiaries into IDEA Technology Group, expanding market share to the US, Canada, and Europe.
Established representative offices in the US and Japan, aiming to become a global enterprise.

About the Executive team

The IDEA leadership team started with only 5 members but has now grown to 30. Most of the leaders have studied and gained practical experience in Japan and graduated from Vietnam’s top universities.

Leveraging their advanced expertise and extensive experience gained in Japan, they are driving technological innovation and management efficiency. With an international perspective and solid capabilities, the leadership team strongly supports IDEA’s growth and contributes to the development of Vietnam’s industrial sector.

The leadership team of IDEA forms the foundation for its success and sustainable development:

Mr. Tokune Ninomiya: Advisor with over 30 years of experience at Toyota, playing a key role in strategic direction and technological development.
Mr. Nobuhiro Koizumi: Representative of IDEA JAPAN, an important bridge for partnerships with Japanese partners, delivering international quality standards.
Mr. Tuan Anh: Manager of Sales & Customer Support, a graduate of Shinshu University, Japan, with 7 years of experience in Japan and an N1 certificate, ensuring customer care and sustainable partnership development.

About the Engineering team

With 97% of its customers being Japanese, American, and foreign direct investment (FDI) companies in Vietnam, IDEA is committed to meeting the high demands of its clients. To achieve this, the company has trained over 150 mechanical design engineers, electrical design engineers, and electromechanical engineers out of its total workforce of more than 250 employees. IDEA continuously strives to enhance its professional capabilities through training programs both locally and internationally (including Japan) to further improve technical expertise, management skills, and the quality of service provided to clients.

Thanks to the strong support and close collaboration with IDEA, many customers have successfully overcome challenges related to a shortage of design and development resources, achieving significant success in their respective industries.
